Order from TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited reinforces the company’s role in smart grid deployment

New Delhi, 16 December 2025: Sharika Enterprises Limited has been awarded a power distribution modernisation contract by TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL), the electricity distribution utility for Western Odisha and a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha.

The order represents another milestone in Sharika Enterprises’ continued involvement in strengthening and digitally upgrading India’s electricity distribution infrastructure, in line with the sector’s ongoing shift towards automation and data-driven operations.

Under the scope of work, Sharika Enterprises will supply and install advanced substation-level automation and monitoring systems, along with associated remote monitoring equipment. These systems will enable enhanced tracking of network parameters and operational status, supporting TPWODL’s initiatives to improve system visibility, operational efficiency, and outage response across its distribution network.
